Superintendent (57254)

Job Purpose:
- Oversee day-to-day on-site operations to ensure work is completed in accordance with blueprints. Perform regular inspections to guarantee the highest standards of workmanship and monitor compliance with engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary on-site leader responsible for managing daily field operations.
- Coordinate subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
- Ensure adherence to design specifications and engineering standards.
- Bridge the gap between office management and on-site workers, facilitating effective communication and problem-solving.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Utilize modern construction management software and tools to enhance project efficiency and oversight.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Required Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a field leadership capacity or relevant commercial trade.
- Proven track record of managing construction projects and leading on-site teams.
- Experience in coordinating subcontractors and managing daily field operations.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and technical specifications.
- Proficient in enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.
- OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
