3A Care focuses on providing support for community living, life skills training and social/recreational experiences to enrich the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 3A Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP’s) to provide community-based services for people with special needs. DSP's are the link to the community for those they serve. For some, they may be the eyes of those unable to see, or the voice for those who can’t speak. For others, they are a friend, cheerleader and subtle support on the path to ones’ true potential.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with their daily living skills, while encouraging their independence and building a positive relationship.
- Provide hands on assistance with personal hygiene, grooming, feeding and medication administration when required.
- Completion of required documentation; Communicate the progress and needs of the client effectively in your documentation.,
- Transport clients to community outings or scheduled appointments.
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certification
- Support client to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Stay up to date on required trainings through College of Direct Support.
- Report to work as scheduled
- Adhere to all 3A Care policies and procedures.

Requirements:
- Must be minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with no more than 5 points
- High School Diploma/ equivalent
- Authorization to work in the US
- Self-motivated team players with a positive, energetic and professional demeanor are highly preferred;
- Must be able to complete all required Division of Developmental Disabilities training and successfully maintain trainings
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
