Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations and team leadership
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests and ensuring a positive experience
- Take and process customer orders using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Prepare hot and cold subs according to Jersey Mike’s quality standards
- Operate kitchen equipment, including slicers, grills, and food prep tools
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the restaurant
- Support the training and development of team members
- Help manage employee schedules and shift operations
- Address customer questions or concerns professionally
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and food safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Previous experience in a restaurant, food service, or hospitality leadership preferred
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Energetic, dependable, and ethical work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
