Responsibilities
- Assist with the organization, loading, and unloading of pipes within the yard using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Safely load pipes onto box trucks or other delivery vehicles for customer orders
- Deliver pipes to various job sites or customer locations following established routes and schedules
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, on time, and with excellent customer service
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, including manual transmission operation, to maintain safety standards
- Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and moving
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, heavy lifting, moving, and material handling
- Valid commercial driver’s license with driving experience in box trucks or similar vehicles
- Strong knowledge of route driving and delivery procedures
- Familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions during deliveries
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and moving throughout the workday
- Prior courier or delivery driver experience preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
