What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Assistant – Integrative Wellness Center position at 369 Global Wellness Center?
Responsibilities
- Assist the chiropractor with patient care and treatment flow
- Prepare patients for treatment and rehabilitation services
- Administer provider-directed therapeutic modalities, including:
- Electrical Stimulation (E-Stim)
- Therapeutic Laser
- Roller Bed Therapy
- Jeanie Rub percussion therapy
- Heat and Cold Therapy
- Therapeutic stretching and rehabilitation exercises
- Mechanical traction/decompression (if trained and delegated)
- Assist with patient positioning during examinations and treatments
- Educate patients on prescribed home exercises and wellness recommendations
- Document treatments accurately in the electronic medical record
- Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms and equipment
- Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with front-office duties as needed
- Work closely with chiropractors, massage therapists, and other providers to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Previous chiropractic assistant experience preferred
- Medical assistant, physical therapy technician, rehabilitation technician, athletic training, kinesiology, or massage therapy experience welcomed
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- CPR certification preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Scope of Position
This position does not perform chiropractic adjustments or diagnose medical conditions. The Chiropractic Assistant provides therapeutic modalities and supportive patient care under the direction of the supervising chiropractor and within applicable Texas laws and clinic protocols.
Pay: $16.00 - $28.12 per hour
