What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL-A Truck Driver - Recent Graduates - Regional position at 365 Freight USA?
Fresh out of CDL school? This entry-level regional dry van job pays an expected $1,600-$1,800 a week after training and brings you home every week.
What will I earn?
Expected pay is $1,600-$1,800 per week after training, sent by direct deposit every Friday. Safety and performance bonus opportunities come on top of that.
Is training paid, and how long does it last?
Yes. Qualified new CDL graduates go through a paid training program that runs 3 to 5 weeks, at $850 per week. Orientation is paid as well.
How often am I home?
You run regional routes with consistent miles, and your home time comes around every week on a regular schedule.
What will I haul, and in what truck?
Mostly no-touch dry van freight, with a high share of drop-and-hook loads. You are assigned a 2024 or 2025 Freightliner or Kenworth tractor. Our team knows a new driver is still getting settled and works with you on that basis.
Do I get benefits, and when do they start?
Medical, dental and vision coverage starts on day one. You also get PTO and holidays, company-paid life and AD&D insurance, pet and rider policies, and a 401(k) with company match once you reach eligibility. This is a W-2 position.
What do I need to apply?
- Valid Class A CDL, with ELDT completed through an FMCSA-registered training provider
- At least 120 hours of CDL instruction, required for paid training
- Satisfactory driving record
- Pass a DOT physical
- DOT pre-employment drug test and Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse enrollment (federal requirements)
- Able to meet DOT and company hiring standards
