Overview
The Sales Leader plays a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and market expansion for Citizens Security Life Insurance Company. This individual is responsible for developing and executing a high-impact sales strategy that increases the number of policyholders, accelerates revenue growth, and expands the company’s footprint in existing and new Skilled Nursing facilities. A key part of this role involves building and leading a high-performing sales team, fostering a results-driven culture, and establishing scalable processes that support sustainable growth. The Sales Leader will also be tasked with identifying and evaluating strategic co-opetition partnerships and broker channels to extend distribution reach and capture greater market share. This includes analyzing potential partner ecosystems, negotiating collaboration terms, and ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Success in this role will be measured by revenue targets, policyholder growth, channel performance, and the ability to position the company as a market leader in its space.
Responsibilities

- Penetrate existing facilities in which our provider partners service participants.
- Foster long-term relationships with facilities and key stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction and retention.
- Represent CSLICO at industry events and with trade associations.
- Oversee CRM management, pipeline and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal quality standards.
- Training and managing insurance sales agents using various channels (telephone, in-person, digital, etc.) to sell insurance policies.
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%).
- Actively supports and complies with all components of the compliance program, including, but not limited to, completion of training and reporting of suspected violations of law and Company policy.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information; abides with HIPAA and PHI guidelines at all times.
- To work remotely, it is expected you will have a reliable, nonpublic high-speed internet connection with sufficient bandwidth to participate in all work-related activities. Any interruptions in service should be immediately reported to your manager.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10 years of sales, leadership experience, preferably in healthcare, insurance and ancillary services.
- Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets and scaling national sales teams.
- Proven track record of building and leading successful sales teams and delivering revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem (Medicare Advantage, LTC, SNFs, IPAs, ACOs, etc.).
- Deep commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors through improved healthcare access and quality.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
