What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Supervisor position at 360° Hotel Group?
This is a full time position for:
Schedule days: Friday - Tuesday
Days off: Wednesday and Thursday
Work Hours between: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Must have open availability including weekends, and be highly flexible to accommodate schedule changes.
We are looking for someone who has had experience supervising a team, who has 1 years cleaning experience.
As the supervisor you will work closely with the Director of Housekeeping in ensuring the highest level of staff engagement, training and support as well as the cleanliness of all areas within the hotel. These areas may include: guest rooms, public areas, storage areas, building exterior, conference rooms, and back-of-house areas. This position monitors staff productivity, daily assignments, and takes a leading role in training as well as ensuring proper communications with the front desk and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities
- Sets a friendly, professional, and positive tone for the entire team to emulate.
- Assist with laundry operations and hotel cleaning as needed based on staffing levels and occupancies.
- Open and/or close the department each day, reporting room status to the front desk.
- Inspects and reports on the cleanliness of guest rooms and public space to ensure that these areas meet or exceed established cleanliness standards.
- Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective or missing items.
- Redirects staff to correct all cleanliness deficiencies found.
- Assists the DOH in all aspects of the employment cycle from hiring, training and performance management.
- Assists the DOH in maintaining excellent guest satisfactions scores and Quality Assurance ratings.
- Helps oversee the process for final approval of guest room cleanliness prior to occupancy.
- Supports and communicates hotels standards for servicing of guest rooms to all housekeeping staff.
- Assists the DOH with the proper reporting, documenting and communication of the lost & found system and process.
- Assists the DOH with other departmental functions, e.g.: monthly linen inventory, guest room and cleaning supplies inventory monitoring, deep cleaning projects.
- Understands and trains on how to work within the hotels housekeeping PMS module.
- Greet and assist guests and co-workers with a friendly smile.
