An industry leading commercial drywall client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Commercial Drywall Project Manager to join their team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of various commercial drywall projects in the Boston, MA area.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of acoustical prefab walls projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the selection and procurement of materials and equipment for each project.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
- Manage and lead a team of contractors, ensuring they have the necessary resources and tools to complete the project successfully.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and address any challenges or issues that may arise.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety regulations.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and communication logs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in acoustical prefab walls technology and techniques.
- Provide regular project status updates to the management team.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management of acoustical ceiling and commercial drywall projects
- Knowledge and understanding of OnScreen Takeoff and QuickBid programs
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
