Special Education Program Manager

Currently looking to hire Program Manager near San Jose, CA . These are full-time positions for the coming school year 2023-2024. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience as a Program Specialist. POSITION DESCRIPTION: As a Program Specialist you will support our special education programs, staff, and students across San José. As a member of our Special Education team, you are dedicated, organized, and collaborative, with a passion for Special Education. You can inspire and support our staff, students, and families on a daily basis. FUNCTIONS: · Analyzes system reports throughout the year to assess participant progress toward meeting induction competency requirements (E) · Audits mentoring time and attendance records for compliance with induction standards · Communicates participant progress and compliance concerns to program managers in a timely manner (E) · Analyzes program data for trends to assist with the development of program improvement goals · Reviews, records, and monitors credential status for program participants to ensure eligibility · Provides advisement to candidates on clear credential requirements in accordance with CTC policies and guidelines · Evaluates clear credential requests to ensure completion of all state credentialing and induction program requirements (E) · Serves as an authorized submitter to CTC to transmit clear credential recommendations · Participates in collaborative planning meetings to set goals, define objectives, and outline solutions for program design and improvement · Attends meetings, workshops, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions · Stays current on legislation, policies, and practices relative to California induction and credentialing requirements to ensure program compliance (E) · Performs job assignment safely for the purpose of protecting people and property (E) · Performs related duties as assigned (E) = Essential Function
