Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist/Clinical Fellow to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a licensed or eligible speech-language pathologist to provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to pediatric populations, including early intervention and school-aged children. The Clinical Fellow will work closely with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that promote effective communication skills. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, professional growth, and collaborative practice within a supportive environment.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, and communication abilities in pediatric patients, utilizing comprehensive evaluation tools and techniques.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor personalized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs and goals.
  • Deliver therapy services through in-person sessions and telehealth platforms, ensuring continuity of care across settings.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members to facilitate consistent support and reinforce therapy strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
  • Educate families about speech and language development milestones, intervention strategies, and ways to support communication at home.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development activities focused on pediatrics, early intervention, and disabilities.
  • Stay informed about current best practices in speech-language pathology, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to pediatric care.
  • Assist in conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for diverse pediatric populations with speech impairments or disabilities.
  • Support the integration of evidence-based practices such as early intervention techniques and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program; current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
  • Experience working with children in clinical settings such as schools, clinics, or early intervention programs preferred.
  • Knowledge of pediatric physiology, anatomy related to speech production, and developmental language milestones.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective speech-language therapy plans for children with various communication disorders.
  • Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and experience providing remote services is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in patient assessment, comprehensive evaluations, and documentation within EMR/EHR systems.
  • Excellent collaboration skills for working with families, educators, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches for individuals with disabilities or speech impairments across diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pediatric healthcare settings is advantageous.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development in pediatrics, early intervention strategies, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
