Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an AV Lead Technician (Audio Visual) located in College Station, TX. The AV Lead Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting AV systems, installation and maintenance of video conferencing equipment, configuring lighting setups, and managing projectors on a day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities:

• Audio Visual (AV) Systems and Troubleshooting skills
• Experience with Video Conferencing systems
• Knowledge of Lighting setups
• Ability to work with Projectors
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Certifications in AV technology are a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of commercial systems integration including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, security, and computer networks including the ability to setup, configure and calibrate.
• An understanding of signal flows and control systems for distributed audio, video, and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used to complete physical installations of speakers, displays, equipment racks, and ventilation systems.
• Physical requirements include climbing ladders and reaching / crawling into tight or awkward places, plus the ability to lift 80 lbs plus.
• Occasional on-call days and/or overtime available/required for unscheduled service needs.
• All associates are required to have reliable means of transportation.
• Ability to work under pressure, assess multiple demands, and manage priorities.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, via email, by phone, or by text to varied audiences.
• The highest level of attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Crestron or QSC certification and 2 years Crestron or QSC experience preferred.
• Security license is a plus.
