The Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront, proudly operated by Shamin Hotels, is seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Food & Beverage to lead all food and beverage operations across the hotel, including Solete Restaurant (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), Cabanas poolside/patio dining, and Banquets & Catering. This role is a key member of the hotel leadership team and reports directly to the General Manager.

This position is responsible for driving operational excellence, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and team development while ensuring full alignment with Marriott/Sheraton brand standards and Shamin Hotels’ service culture.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide overall leadership and direction for FOH, BOH, and Banquets, with all departments reporting to this role

Oversee daily operations of Solete Restaurant, Cabanas, and Banquets/Catering, ensuring consistent service delivery and brand compliance

Develop and execute strategic plans to improve revenue, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency

Lead staffing, scheduling, and labor management to support service demands and financial goals

Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Hotel Leadership to drive activations, promotions, and on-property experiences

Ensure food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance across all outlets

Champion training and development programs to build bench strength and promote internal growth

Monitor and manage budgets, cost controls, inventory, and profitability

Qualifications:
-
5 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel or multi-outlet food & beverage operations

Proven experience leading restaurant, banquets, and catering in a high-volume environment

Strong knowledge of Marriott/Sheraton brand standards and full-service hotel operations preferred

Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse teams across FOH, BOH, and Events

Strong financial acumen, including labor management, food & beverage cost controls, and budgeting

Proven track record of developing leaders and building high-performing teams

Hands-on, solutions-oriented leadership style with a strong sense of ownership

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
