Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including signature cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drink options tailored to their tastes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Square to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and basic retail math calculations
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies; restock as needed
- Uphold responsible serving policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication
- Collaborate with the team during busy nights, including nightclub or banquet events, to ensure seamless service
- Handle food safety procedures related to food handling and serving food alongside beverages when required
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a lively atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square for order processing
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, brewing techniques, and food safety standards in the food industry
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Experience with serving at catering events or in hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and alcohol serving regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event nights
- Food Handlers Card or Food Managers Card
