Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role based at 333 Sunset in Palm Beach, FL. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the appearance, functionality, and safety of the property at a luxury standard. Daily responsibilities include responding to resident service requests, performing routine building inspections, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance systems, and completing minor carpentry, painting, and general upkeep. The role also includes supporting the pool, spa, fitness center, and amenity spaces, assisting with unit turns and punch-list completion, coordinating with vendors as needed, and responding to maintenance emergencies. This position works closely with property management and on-site staff to support a well-functioning, resident-focused community.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of residential, hospitality, or commercial property maintenance experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance
- Experience with equipment maintenance including routine inspections, cleaning, and minor part replacement
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and checklists
- Proficiency in troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve building system issues efficiently
- Basic knowledge of building safety codes and safe work practices
- Professional appearance and clear communication skills when interacting with residents and team members
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, operate hand and power tools safely, and work on ladders or in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
