Key Responsibilities
Litigation Support
- Respond to first‑party complaints and third‑party service of process (subpoenas, wage garnishments, etc.).
- Manage personnel records requests.
- Collect, review, and organize discovery materials (emails, contracts, employee/student records).
- Coordinate with internal departments (HR, IT) and external legal counsel.
Office Management
- Support the Chief Legal Officer with administrative tasks.
- Manage office inquiries, mail, and packages.
- Order supplies and maintain an efficient, professional workspace.
- Ensure smooth daily operations for the legal office.
Additional Duties
- Assist with special projects and evolving priorities.
- Provide general administrative support to the legal team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred; paralegal certificate accepted.
- Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Strong ability to read and interpret statutes, regulations, case law, and legal documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
