Inventory / Warehouse Specialist

Duties

• Manage inventory levels through accurate data collection, analysis, and real-time updates using warehouse management software.
• Coordinate warehouse distribution activities including stocking, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and materials handling to ensure timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
• Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies or process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions to improve warehouse operations.
• Utilize data visualization tools like Power BI or Octup to analyze supply chain metrics, identify trends, and support demand planning initiatives.
• Lead process improvement projects focused on logistics inventory management, category management, and overall warehouse efficiency.
• Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and stock movement activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain management with a strong understanding of logistics processes.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms (such as Shopify), Excel data analysis, and data analytics tools like Power BI.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively across customers, logistics, and IT teams.
• Knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and supply chain analytics.
• Ability to perform math calculations accurately for inventory valuation, pricing strategies, and financial analysis.
• Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and problem-solving under pressure.
