Job Overview
We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our construction team. This position involves assisting with daily site clean-up, organization, and general labor tasks to support our trade crews (carpenters, plumbers, electricians, HVAC, flooring installers, and more). You’ll help ensure that our projects run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites daily
- Remove debris, sweep, and dispose of construction waste properly
- Assist trade crews with loading/unloading materials and equipment
- Deliver tools, materials, and supplies to work areas as needed
- Perform light demolition or prep work under supervision
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Report any hazards, damaged tools, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately
- Support multiple crews across different job sites as assigned
Skills
- Prior construction or general labor experience preferred but not required
- Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs, bend, and stand for long periods
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new trades and support skilled crews
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
