About This Role:
- As a team member, you will provide quality, compassionate care in a secure setting.
- You will implement patient Care Plans for rehabilitation under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- You will assist mentally and/or physically impaired patients in tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance their performance.
- You will communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and other team members.
- You will assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
- You will document patient care according to regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
- You will instruct patient family members or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
- You will maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition.
- You will perform job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.
Qualifications:
- A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant/PTA program culminating in an Associate Degree.
- Current state licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant/PTA or equivalent in states where services are rendered.
- CPR certification when required.
