- Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to tables swiftly and accurately, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
- Clear and reset tables promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service and a clean dining environment.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional support during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including wiping down surfaces, organizing utensils, and ensuring trash is disposed of properly.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing dishes and assisting in basic kitchen duties under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Toast POS to relay orders or special requests.
- Uphold food safety standards by handling food responsibly and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed at all times.
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food handling and safety protocols.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with serving techniques, bussing procedures, and basic food preparation is highly desirable.
- Experience operating POS systems like Aloha POS or Toast POS for order accuracy and efficient service.
- Previous banquet or hotel experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in diverse hospitality settings.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
