310 Fitness is seeking professional, motivated, and knowledgeable Personal Trainers to join our
team.
We are looking for trainers who view personal training as a profession—not simply a job. The
ideal candidate combines strong exercise knowledge with excellent coaching, communication,
reliability, and a genuine commitment to client success.
Our Personal Trainers are expected to take ownership of their clients, contribute to the 310
Fitness team, and actively build their professional reputation and client base.
THE 310 FITNESS PERSONAL TRAINER
Our Personal Training Program is built around five professional standards:
I. PROFESSIONALISM
Personal Trainers represent 310 Fitness every time they interact with a client or member.
Our trainers are expected to:
Arrive prepared and on time for every session.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Communicate respectfully with clients, members, coworkers, and management.
Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and client confidentiality.
Follow all 310 Fitness policies and procedures.
Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and initiative.
II. COACHING EXCELLENCE
Our trainers are expected to provide safe, effective, and individualized training based on sound
exercise principles.
Responsibilities include:
Developing individualized exercise programs.
Teaching and coaching proper exercise techniques.
Adjusting exercises to accommodate individual needs and abilities.
Progress training appropriately as clients improve.
Monitoring client performance and response.
Working within your education, certification, and professional scope of practice.
We are looking for coaches who understand how to train people—not simply demonstrate
exercises.
III. CLIENT SUCCESS
Our clients are the foundation of our Personal Training Program.
Successful trainers:
Understanding each client's goals.
Create an effective and individualized training experience.
Establishing accountability and motivation.
Communicating consistently with clients.
Track progress and adjust programming when appropriate.
Build strong professional relationships.
Create an experience that encourages long-term client retention.
IV. CLIENT DEVELOPMENT
Personal Trainers have the opportunity to build and maintain their own client base.
This includes:
Building relationships with members.
Introducing members to personal training.
Conducting consultations or introductory sessions when assigned.
Communicating the value of personal training.
Scheduling and maintaining client appointments.
Following up with prospective and existing clients.
Developing referrals and maintaining a consistent book of clients.

V. TEAM CONTRIBUTION
Our trainers contribute to the overall member experience and success of 310 Fitness.
This includes:
Maintaining a clean and organized training environment.
Properly store and re-racking equipment.
Engaging positively with members during approved floor hours.
Supporting promotional events and gym initiatives.
Participating in required meetings and training.
Working cooperatively with management and other staff.
COMPENSATION
$22.00 PER HOUR
Personal Trainers are paid a $22/hour base rate for personal training and approved work hours,
including floor hours, programming, meetings, training, and other assigned duties.
The $22/hour rate provides a consistent foundation, with the opportunity to increase overall
earnings by building and maintaining a strong client base and increasing training volume.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
We believe strong trainers continue to develop throughout their careers.
Eligible trainers may qualify for continuing education funding after meeting established tenure
and client-base requirements.

Functional fitness
Sports performance
Specialized populations
Client communication and behavior change
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must possess at least one of the following:
Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification; or
ACSM Fitness Specialist Certification; or
Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or a closely related field
and at least one year of personal training experience.
All candidates must successfully complete a Personal Trainer audition prior to employment.
Additional education, certifications, and relevant industry experience are encouraged.
