Job Summary: We a construction product company looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for safely handling and organizing construction materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and loading/unloading materials both at the office and in the field. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Warehouse Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of warehouse inventory.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials in the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, is a plus.
Skills:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
Experience:
- Previous experience in construction is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of insulation materials, installation methods, and relevant industry standards, is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications related to insulation, is a plus.
Skills:
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting inspection findings.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with teams and contractors.
- Problem-solving ability to address quality issues effectively.
