Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
• Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting to uphold hygiene standards.
• Operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to maintain shiny, well-maintained flooring.
• Assist with industrial cleaning projects requiring specialized techniques or equipment for large-scale or heavy-duty tasks.
• Support facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and general upkeep to ensure optimal working conditions.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules.

Requirements

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of commercial or residential cleaning practices.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing surfaces.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor buffers, and industrial cleaners safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cleaning responsibilities.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
