Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Load, and unload of customer bags , including heavy lifting of garment bags at times.
- Engage with customers professionally to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and promote additional products or services through upselling techniques.
- Communicate effectively with Manager, clients, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper functioning of transportation equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving or route driving within retail or distribution environments.
- Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, merchandising, and sales techniques to enhance customer interactions.
- Exceptional communication skills for client relationship building and clear route instructions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Prior experience in retail store operations or military service is a plus for organizational discipline and client communication skills.
