Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Familiarity with food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
- Experience with POS systems such as Toast preferred.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
