Responsibilities
- Engage in outside sales activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, and territory management.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand market presence within assigned territories.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Conduct product presentations and technical sales consultations to demonstrate value propositions tailored to client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms effectively while maintaining positive relationships with clients.
- Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions to ensure seamless account management.
- Create estimates for potential clients.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, D2D (door-to-door) sales, within a competitive market environment.
- Strong background in management or business development roles with a focus on account growth and retention.
- Familiarity with Micosoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated success in direct sales, cold calling, product demos, and upselling techniques.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with analysis capabilities to assess client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Experience in construction and/or the willingness to learn about roofing and construction.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and manage multiple accounts effectively.
