The Golf Shop attendant assists the Director of Golf and golf staff in the
management of day-to-day golf operations of the facility. All duties of the position
shall be performed with the commitment to the highest level of customer service
and total satisfaction of all customers.
Responsibilities:
- Administer point of sales transactions and maintain the day-to-day golf
reservation systems by reserving tee times, checking in customers, and receiving
payments.
- Work collaboratively with the golf staff to ensure a seamless experience for
members and guests.
- Perform opening and closing procedures for the Golf Shop, ensuring that the
shop is ready for business and secured at the end of the day
- Provide a warm, welcoming greeting to members and guests upon their arrival
and throughout their visit
- Ensure the pro shop is always clean, tidy, and welcoming, performing routine
cleaning tasks and organizing as needed.
- Wear a clean and neat uniform daily.
Qualifications:
-golf industry experience a plus
-Passion for people and the game of golf
- Basic knowledge of golf
- Hospitality experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic
