Job Position Title: Assistant Project Manager

Job Description Summary:

Assist in the management of project(s) while providing advice to the Project Manager. Help coordinate projects, schedules, and track the progress of projects and report their results. This is a full-time onsite position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help oversee a construction project from start to finish
• Manage day-to-day project activities including the POD and time sheets
• Assist in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed
• Work with project manager to ensure understanding of all project activities, schedules and deliverables
• Help to manage client responsibilities and expectations
• Work with management to develop the objectives/goals of each member and assign individual responsibilities
• Ensure that construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule
• Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis
• Effective time management and logical decision-making ability

• Ability to multitask and maintain effectiveness with multiple priorities
• Professional demeanor; remain calm and emotionally controlled under pressure
• Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required
• Excellent communication, accounting and organizational skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and Timberline
• A basic to good understanding of construction means and methods
• Extensive understanding/proficiency with Microsoft programs, Email and other software used in the construction industry.
• Completed OSHA 10 & 20 ET&D Training
• Self-Starter

Physical Demands:

• Crew visits on the job site

Education and/or Work Experience:

At least one of the following:

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management Preferred;
• Construction Management with 1-2 years of experience with a renewable, electrical, commercial or Industrial general contractor;
• 2 years of directly related experience with no degree
