3-Dimensional Services Group is seeking an entry level Sales Engineer for our Rochester Hills location. Candidate will have a sales office in Rochester Hills, occasional travel to Lapeer facilities may be required.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Meet targeted sales goals (revenue, target accounts, penetration, etc.).
- Work with Sr. Sales Engineers to learn to quote prototype and low volume manufacturing projects in metal & plastic.
- Effectively utilize documentation to improve and manage customer relationships.
- Stay up to date with detailed contact / account information, attach and log relevant emails / communication.
- Work through program management team to get jobs through system and avoid being in the shop.
- Work with sales manager to establish target accounts to increase revenue and relationship.
- Follow up on all opportunities until either closed or won status.
- Maintain hotlist in both timeliness and accuracy.
Education/Special Knowledge:
- B.S. degree or equivalent manufacturing experience will be a plus but not required.
- Ability to learn technical nature of manufacturing processes in prototype parts manufacturing.
- Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel. Experience with CAD Software, GD&T, , tooling strategy, or estimating would be a plus.
