3-Dimensional Services Group is seeking a Prototype Assistant to join our Lapeer location. This position supports CNC Operators and Programmers by helping prepare, handle, and process parts during the early stages of prototype production.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in handling parts for CNC, Stamping, and Laser departments.
- Load and unload parts from machines.
- Activate machine operations to perform part cutting.
- Deburr and perform basic inspections of finished parts.
- Stack and organize parts on pallets for the next stage of production.
- Communicate job progress and part status with the next shift leader.
- Accurately log job times and daily activities.
- Maintain awareness of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.
- Follow all required PPE and company safety policies.
Education/Special Knowledge:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 1 – years' work experience preferred
- Excellent organizational & time management skills
- Self-Motivated and able to perform duties with minimal supervision
- Works well in a team environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
