Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced DIE-CAST/Automotive Manufacturing Team Leader to oversee our production team and ensure efficient operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to foster a positive work environment. This role is crucial in driving productivity, maintaining safety standards, and achieving production goals.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of manufacturing associates to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Coordinate daily production activities, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages open communication and teamwork.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role or similar position.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
- Proficient in using manufacturing software and tools; familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
