The firm manages a large, diversified portfolio across multiple industries and continues to grow its platform and capabilities.
This role sits within the valuations function and will work closely with investment, finance, and senior leadership teams to support portfolio valuation, reporting, and analytics.
The Role
This individual will play a key role in overseeing the valuation process across a portfolio of private investments. The position involves both technical valuation work and cross-functional coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support quarterly valuation processes across private equity and credit investments
- Review and refine valuation models and supporting analysis
- Partner with investment teams, finance, and other internal groups to gather inputs and validate assumptions
- Prepare materials and insights for internal valuation reviews and senior stakeholders
- Analyze key drivers of valuation changes and performance trends across the portfolio
- Assist with audit processes and coordination with third-party valuation providers
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in valuation processes, reporting, and systems
- Support ad hoc analysis, portfolio reporting, and performance tracking
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 4–8 years of experience in valuation, transaction advisory, investment banking, or a related field
- Strong understanding of valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, precedent transactions, etc.)
- Experience working with private equity, credit, or complex investment structures is preferred
- Advanced financial modeling skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with portfolio monitoring or valuation systems
- Exposure to data analytics or visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Familiarity with third-party valuation processes and audit interactions
