Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their visit
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process food orders and retail transactions accurately
• Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit/debit card payments, and giving correct change
• Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality standards and food safety protocols are maintained
• Manage customer orders efficiently in food service environments, ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety standards
• Upsell menu items or retail products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
• Operate kitchen equipment safely when assisting with food handling or preparation tasks
• Support food safety management practices by following sanitation procedures and handling food properly
• Ensure the checkout area is organized, stocked, and presentable at all times

Requirements

Must be 21 years old to sell tobacco products & Beer

• Previous experience in quick service or gas stations is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Pilot or Verifone; familiarity with cash handling procedures
• Experience with food preparation, food handling, and maintaining sanitation standards
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple customer interactions efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash registers confidently
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and follow food safety protocols
• Retail sales experience including upselling techniques is a plus
• Food industry knowledge including food safety management and sanitation practices is desirable
