Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Tow harvesting equipment. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Dragline crew members support the setup, operation, maintenance, and breakdown of slurry application systems using high-capacity dragline equipment. This role involves physical labor, machinery operation, and field setup in a fast-paced, weather-dependent agricultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with setup and teardown of dragline slurry systems across various field sites
• Operate pumps, tractors, hose reels, and related equipment
• Monitor flow, pressure, and equipment performance during application
• Transport and connect hoses across fields with attention to safety and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance and light mechanical repairs on equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
• Communicate clearly with team members via two-way radio
• Follow safety protocols and report any incidents immediately
• Represent the company respectfully on job sites and in public
