3.1 Phillip Lim is seeking an experienced Patternmaker to join our women’s ready-to-wear team. This role is integral to the development and execution of our RTW collections and requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate closely with the designer to create master patterns from sketches and illustrated concepts
- Clearly communicate sample construction details to the designers, sample sewers, and atelier manager.
- Work with designer to fit prototypes and alter pattern pieces
- Partner with Production to finalize patterns prior to factory handover
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout the pattern development process
What You’ll Have
- 7–10 years of experience in a contemporary or designer women’s RTW market
- Experience working with a wide range of fabrics, including leather, suiting, jersey, and fluid wovens.
- Proficiency in Gerber is a strong plus
- Working knowledge of Cantonese is a strong plus
- Fluent English communication skills (required)
