Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Laborer. The Laborer will assist drilling crews with daily field operations, including preparing job sites, handling tools and materials, and supporting safe and efficient drilling activities. Responsibilities include loading and unloading equipment, setting up and breaking down drill rigs, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and following all safety procedures and company guidelines. The role also involves performing basic maintenance tasks on tools and equipment, assisting with sample collection and handling, and completing required documentation or reports as directed. The Laborer works closely with supervisors and crew members to ensure projects are completed on time and in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong awareness of safety practices and willingness to follow all safety protocols and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Reliability in attendance, punctuality, and following instructions from supervisors and crew leads.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn operation and maintenance of tools and equipment used in drilling.
- Effective teamwork skills, including clear communication and cooperation with crew members on job sites.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work location; ability to travel to job sites as needed.
- Willingness to work extended hours, overtime, and occasional weekends based on project needs.
- Prior experience in construction, drilling, or related field work is beneficial but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
