Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Coder, located in Denver, CO. The Medical Coder will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing medical records to assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures. Additional tasks include ensuring compliance with medical coding guidelines, supporting accurate billing processes, and collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation. The role also includes staying updated on changes in coding standards and regulations.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in Medical Coding, including familiarity with relevant coding systems and practices.
- Certified in Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or equivalent credentials.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management principles.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems is a plus.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or a related field is preferred.
