Electrician candidates must have knowledge of:
- Commercial and Industrial Construction, Installations
- Understanding of the Current NEC
- Troubleshooting of new and existing electrical systems
- Commercial fit outs, labs, warehouse, medical
- Panelboards, transformers
- Lighting and controls
- Reading, understanding and interpreting project drawings, submittals, scopes, documents
Electricians should possess the following:
- Work as team member and manage team members on their project
- Thorough knowledge of electrical trade
- Ability to make frequent technical decisions based on specifications and electrical codes
- Professional appearance and attitude on the job
- The ability to communicate with clients and manage the scope of work relative to their project
- Skills to handle tools and materials accurately, efficiently and safely
- Ability to prioritize work requirements
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
