What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Machinist position at 2K Tool?
We are a small to medium sized mold manufacturing/Machining company located just outside Grand Rapids in the city of Wyoming. We are currently looking for a CNC Machinist that can program their own machines. We currently program using Work NC programming knowledge is required but we are willing to train on our software if needed.
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision , attention to detail and able to work some overtime when needed are a couple requirements of this position.
Below are some of the responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
- Loading raw materials into the CNC machine.
- Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software.
- Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
- Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.
- Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
- Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
- Cleaning and maintaining the machine.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
