We’re hiring an experienced bookkeeper for a permanent, year-round role in a stable, established firm — not a seasonal tax-season position.

This is a permanent, year-round, on-site position based in our Delaware, Ohio office. We are not able to offer remote or hybrid work.
About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple client accounts. This is not an entry-level position.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate books, reviewing financials, and communicating with clients. While training on client-specific details will be provided, you must already have a solid understanding of the accounting cycle and hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
This role may also assist with quality control reviews of work completed by junior bookkeepers.
Full-time or part-time hours available.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple client accounts
- Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Review financial statements for accuracy and consistency
- Record accruals and necessary adjustments
- Maintain organized client documentation
- Communicate with clients through our secure client portal
- Generate and deliver recurring reports
- Manage year-end tasks and communicate with CPAs
- Update and manage tasks in our project management system
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, and process improvements
- Support quality and efficiency across all assigned accounts
This Role Is a Great Fit If You:
- Have extensive, recent bookkeeping experience
- Are confident managing multiple clients and deadlines

- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
- Are very comfortable in QuickBooks Online (Desktop experience a plus)
- Understand GAAP and full accounting cycles
- Have hands-on experience with:
- Payroll setup and processing
- Payroll tax filings
- Sales tax filings
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Value stability, structure, and long-term employment over seasonal work
Preferred (but Not Required)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Xero experience
- Experience with intercompany transactions or job costing
