JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Junior Field Engineer
LOCATION: Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida
SUMMARY:
The Junior Field Engineer acts as a key liaison between 2JCP, EPC contractors, and OEM clients, providing site assessments, on-site technical support, and client training in gas turbine and clean energy installations. This role requires working independently, managing multiple tasks, and traveling frequently to project sites, both domestically and internationally. When not in the field, the Junior Field Engineer assists senior engineers with design, development, testing, and project support under supervision, contributing to a collaborative environment focused on efficient project execution and resolution of technical challenges.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the primary liaison between 2JCP, EPC contractors, and OEM clients, ensuring clear communication, alignment on project goals, and seamless collaboration during gas turbine and clean energy installations.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate project readiness, identify potential issues, and verify compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards.
- Provide on-site technical support, including troubleshooting equipment and systems, relaying specifications, and addressing challenges to minimize delays.
- Deliver training to clients and stakeholders on equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices, fostering knowledge transfer and long-term project success.
- Work independently to manage multiple tasks, such as coordinating logistics, monitoring equipment deliveries, and escalating issues to appropriate teams for resolution.
- When not in the field, assist senior engineers under supervision with design, development, testing, and project support activities.
- Create technical drawings, reports, and documentation to support engineering efforts and project tracking.
- Gather and analyze data from field activities and internal projects, collaborating with team members to identify trends and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical problems in both field and office settings, contributing to the development and execution of effective resolutions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering or a related field.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: OSHA training preferred; background check required; valid passport required for international travel.
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project)
- CAD software for creating technical drawings
- Internet software for research and communication
