Duties
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic networks and associated equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and voltmeters to perform electrical testing and repairs.
- Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of installation projects.
- Document all service activities accurately in compliance with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and solutions.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the telecommunications industry preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights, tight spaces, and changing weather conditions.
- Proficient in using hand tools and voltmeters for testing and repairs.
- Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for client interactions.
- A valid driver's license and clear background check and drug screen.
