Job Summary
2B Farming is seeking an experienced Field Operations Coordinator to support the Director of Farming Operations across multiple almond and pistachio ranches. This role focuses on operational coordination, budgeting support, data tracking, harvest reporting, and regulatory documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing agricultural data, spreadsheets, and compliance records in a fast-paced farming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Coordination
- Support daily, weekly, and seasonal farm operations across multiple ranch managers
- Maintain operational schedules, to-do lists, and field tracking tools
- Provide general project coordination support to the operations team
Budgets & Reporting
- Assist with annual farm budgets and monthly budget-vs-actual tracking
- Compile harvest data, cost reports, and operational metrics
- Maintain accurate farm operations spreadsheets
Harvest Support
- Coordinate almond and pistachio harvest schedules
- Track harvest activities, processors, hullers, and harvesters
- Prepare and maintain harvest reports and worksheets
Field Data & Farm Records
- Maintain irrigation needs, water budgets, fertility schedules, and pruning records
- Track weather, chill hours, chemical pricing, and REC data
- Maintain ranch profiles and technical farm records
Compliance & Documentation
- Support regulatory and compliance reporting including ILRP/NMP, AF36, GAP Audits, Air Board, CMP, and CER documentation
- Maintain pistachio records including blanks forms and Ganoderma programs
- Support Healthy Soils and cover crop programs
Qualifications
Should be safety conscious, a team player, energetic, self-motivated, eager to learn, and detail oriented
- 3 years of experience in agricultural operations or farm management support
- Strong understanding of almond and pistachio orchard operations
- Experience with ag compliance, reporting, and documentation
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High School diploma or higher level of education.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Working Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, & Outlook.
Preferred
- Familiarity with Central Valley ag regulations
- Experience working with multiple ranch managers
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Work Environment
- Combination of office and field work
- Travel between ranches as needed
- Seasonal workload fluctuations during peak operations

Compensation:
$22.00 - $25.00 hourly
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
