Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning and floor care

- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Use janitorial equipment effectively for tasks like vacuuming, window washing, and surface disinfecting
- Follow manual handling guidelines when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injury
- Communicate professionally with clients about their cleaning needs and address any special requests or concerns
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial background preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and surface care techniques
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and complete assignments promptly
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and prolonged standing or walking
- Customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction through professional communication and reliable service
- Experience with floor care including polishing, stripping, sealing, and carpet cleaning techniques
- Knowledge of housekeeping management principles for maintaining organized work areas
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
