Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and private spaces according to established standards
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a spotless appearance
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust or debris, including bathrooms and kitchens
- Handle waste disposal responsibly and maintain cleanliness of trash receptacles
- Follow safety procedures during cleaning activities, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping management within hospitality settings
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing floors
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies for efficient service delivery
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on hygiene standards and guest satisfaction
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Prior hotel experience or custodial experience is highly desirable for this role
