We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender and Server to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests by serving high-quality beverages and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction with drinks and service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including Aloha POS.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
- Assist in catering events as needed, showcasing versatility in food service operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
- Familiarity with collaboration sales techniques to enhance guest experiences and increase sales.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and bartending techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a team-oriented environment.
