What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker/Box Truck Driver position at 26 Fitness Inc.?
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our warehouse team! As a warehouse worker, you'll be responsible for loading and unloading truckloads of new and used gym equipment, cleaning and testing gym equipment, installing and removing equipment at gyms and homes, driving box trucks to and from job sites, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment. Drivers will travel to job sites with a team to assemble and move fitness equipment and will also work in the warehouse when not on the road. They'll assist the install team with warehouse work and job site visits. This position offers a great opportunity for growth within our company.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments
- Verify and inspect incoming equipment
- Pick orders for shipment
- Organize and retrieve equipment in the warehouse
- Clean and test equipment
- Deliver equipment to gyms and homes
- Drive box trucks to and from job sites
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license required
- Prior warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 100 lbs)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Mechanically inclined (preferred)
- Own your own set of tools or be willing to obtain them once hired
- Punctual and dependable
