Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber for a small residential project
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute project plans
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment to perform installations and repairs
- Conduct remodeling and remodeling-related plumbing tasks as needed
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support project requirements
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing work aligns with overall project timelines and specifications
- Assist with HVAC system installations when necessary
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
- Read and apply schematics and mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting issues during installation or repairs
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, including pipe threading, welding, and schematic reading
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, blueprints, schematics, and HVAC systems
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Construction site experience with familiarity in remodeling or assembly projects preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to piping systems, carpentry skills beneficial for framing or structural support tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in physically demanding environments
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installation tasks
- Valid driver's license for commercial driving or site access as required
- Maintenance Person experience or background in construction is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics accurately
