Sr. National Account Manager - ULTA

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Sr. National Account Manager - ULTA to lead one of our most important retail partnerships and help drive continued growth across the beauty category. This role is ideal for a sales leader who combines strong account management expertise with analytical rigor, retail insight, and a passion for building high-impact brand partnerships.

In this position, you will own the ULTA business across both in-store and digital channels, with responsibility for revenue growth, account strategy, forecasting, and relationship management. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across marketing, planning, operations, and finance to ensure strong execution, maximize opportunities, and support long-term business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the ULTA account, developing strategies to grow sales, increase brand presence, and improve overall performance across retail and e-commerce channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail contacts and internal cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Create annual, quarterly, and seasonal account plans aligned with sales, margin, and profitability objectives.
  • Analyze sales performance, category trends, and market activity to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable next steps.
  • Own forecasting, budgeting, and sell-in planning, adjusting as business needs and retailer dynamics evolve.
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies, sell-through plans, and compelling business presentations.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and operations to support launches, inventory management, and seamless execution.
  • Prepare and present business reviews, revenue updates, and strategic recommendations to leadership and external partners.
  • Monitor competitive activity and beauty industry trends to inform account planning and commercial decisions.
  • Deliver against revenue goals while supporting broader business priorities and long-term growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing national retail accounts, preferably with ULTA and/or other major beauty retailers.
  • MIN 7 years of wholesale/SELL IN experience in the beauty/cosmetic/personal care industry and current.
  • Strong background in account management, sales planning, forecasting, and retail strategy within beauty, skincare, consumer goods, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated success driving growth across both brick-and-mortar and digital commerce channels.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations and action plans.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of the beauty landscape, retailer expectations, and consumer trends.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, accountable, and solutions-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience presenting forecasts, business updates, and strategic plans to both internal leaders and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

  • Serving as a collaborative internal partner while effectively advocating for the needs of the account and the business.
