Project Manager, Store Planning & Design (Luxury Beauty)
Full Time/ Direct Hire
Target Salary: $100-$125k (Dependent on Experience Level)
On Site 3-4 days/ week in NYC Office
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Project Manager, Store Planning & Design to join a leading organization in the luxury beauty and retail industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Architecture, with an Architecture degree preferred for their comprehensive skillset in design, technical execution, and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all architectural and construction activities related to new boutique development and renovation of existing stores—from initial surveys and layout through design, construction completion, punch list, and final turnover.
- Utilize AutoCAD to create comprehensive design packages, including floor plans, elevations, and renderings for new retail buildouts, ensuring alignment with brand design standards and requirements.
- Conduct site visits to perform due diligence and feasibility studies; maintain thorough reports to ensure quality control in construction and millwork installation.
- Prepare capital expenditure reports, cost estimates, and project timelines for budgeting and execution; provide regular updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary liaison with vendors to coordinate design and installation needs—including new initiatives, design functions, and installation details.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required; candidates with Interior Design backgrounds considered if possessing relevant experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience in creating detailed floor plans, elevations, and renderings for retail environments highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within the luxury retail or beauty sector is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
